lots of people are having problems with the latest iPlayer Desktop and Leopard/Snow Leopard.

http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2220713&start=0&tstart=0

It's just jerky enough on my mac to make it not really worth watching. It shouldn't be a horsepower issue as I've got a dual core 2.66GHz 4GB RAM 24" iMac

no fix so far

I'm curious to see if you have the same problem. Could you try downloading any episode of Life and confirm that the full screen playback isn't jerky? Hint: It's most noticeable during fly-by shots and panning landscapes.

I've got this feeling that everyone on Leopard/Snow Leopard has this problem. It would be great to find someone without this issue to confirm that it's fixable.

Cheers

Very helpful, thank you.

I just passed it on to the BBC website - they seem unaware of it.
